Live Music in Dewey Beach: July 4th Weekend 2026 Guide

There’s no weekend in Dewey quite like the Fourth. The decks are packed, the bands play till late, and you can walk a single block and hear multiple shows spilling out into the night air. Whether you want a free afternoon set with your toes in the sand or a big ticketed concert, here’s where the music’s playing over July 4th weekend 2026. Every set time below is straight from the venues themselves.

Lineups and set times can change at the last minute. Always confirm with the venue before you head out.

Rusty Rudder: Bayside and Free

The Rudder is the easiest call of the weekend. Free shows on the bayfront deck, sunset over Rehoboth Bay, and a lineup that runs all weekend long.

Don’t Miss: Love Seed Mama Jump on Thursday, July 2 at 9pm. They’re a Delaware beach-music institution, and a Rudder crowd singing along to them is about as Dewey as it gets.

The rest of the weekend:

  • Friday, July 3: Kono Nation + LVLS, 3pm
  • Saturday, July 4: Stealing Savanah, 9pm
  • Sunday, July 5: Chris Diller Trio, 8pm

The Vibe: Come early, grab a rail spot on the deck, and stay for the sunset. No cover.

The Starboard: Afternoon to Late Night

The Starboard runs music from the early afternoon straight through the night, so it fits whatever speed you’re moving at this weekend.

  • Friday, July 3: Bodhi & Keenan Willians, 3pm
  • Saturday, July 4: Johnny Phatt & Phunn Button, 2:30pm
  • Sunday, July 5: Bryen O’Boyle, 2:30pm, then Kristen & Friends at 9pm

Insider Tip: The Starboard’s build-your-own bloody mary bar is part of the experience — pair it with the afternoon set.

Bottle & Cork: Concerts and Free Jams

The Cork is the big room, and the holiday weekend brings both ticketed headliners and the venue’s free afternoon jam tradition.

Ticketed concerts:

  • Wednesday, July 1: Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime, 8pm
  • Thursday, July 2: Stifler’s Mom, 8pm

Free Jam Sessions (5pm, no cover): The Cork’s long-running afternoon jams roll right through the weekend, stacking five acts a night.

  • Friday, July 3: Laura Lea & Tripp Fabulous, Benderz, Stealing Savanah, Kono Nation, Knappy
  • Saturday, July 4: Turning The Tide, Love Seed, Stealing Savanah, Gab Cinque, Knappy

The Vibe: Indoor concert-hall energy in the self-proclaimed “Greatest Rock and Roll Bar in the World.” The ticketed nights fill up, so grab those ahead; the afternoon jams are the free, roll-right-in option.

The Lighthouse: Bayfront in Ruddertowne

Right on the bay in the Ruddertowne complex, The Lighthouse stacks the whole holiday weekend with music, plus its signature Taco Toss.

  • Friday, July 3: Taco Toss at 4pm, Decade80 at 5pm, then Kris V & Richie D at 7pm
  • Saturday, July 4: DJ Manny, 8pm to 11pm
  • Sunday, July 5: Darren O’Neill, 7pm

The Vibe: Sunset views over the bay, dollar tacos on Friday, and music into the night. Easy to pair with a Rudder stop since they’re steps apart.

Nalu Surf Bar: Hawaiian-Style on the Highway

Nalu brings the laid-back surf-bar energy with afternoon-into-night music all weekend.

  • Friday, July 3: Frank Raines, 4pm to 8pm, then Matt Quinton, 8:30pm to 12:30am
  • Saturday, July 4: Decade 80 (the high-energy '80s party band), 9pm to midnight
  • Sunday, July 5: Matt Quinton, 6pm to 10pm

The Vibe: Open-air, tropical, and easygoing. A great spot to catch a long afternoon set and roll right into the evening.

Northbeach: Pool Party Energy

Up on the north end, Northbeach leans into the daytime party with food and a pool scene, then keeps the music going.

  • Friday: Free pizza deck party with a live band at 6pm
  • Saturday: Pool party with DJ Scooter
  • Sunday: Sunday Funday brunch with Steve Lennon and the Northbeach Band

The Vibe: Bayfront, high-energy, and built for a group. The Saturday pool party is the move if you want sun, music, and a drink in hand all afternoon.

One More to Wander Into

Half the fun of Dewey is that the music finds you. Woody’s Dewey Beach keeps the entertainment going alongside their famous crab cakes — stroll the strip and follow your ears.
