Dewey Goes Pink is one of the town's biggest days of the year -- a beachside walk and run that turns Dewey pink for breast cancer awareness. Over 14 years it has raised more than $2.3 million for the fight against breast cancer, and it keeps growing.
The Cause: Proceeds support breast cancer programs, with The Starboard and Starboard Charitable helping lead the effort.
The Day: Expect a walk and run, live music, food and drink specials around town, and a whole lot of pink. It's equal parts fundraiser and community party.
